A Brazilian explorer’s 14-day journey in Serra do Espinhaço.

MArcio lost 6 toenails (5 on one foot) after our ascenT of itambe on Day 2. Not only did he joke about it nightly for the next 12 days, he seemingly recovered quicker each day on the trail—despite resorting to socks & flip-flops at times. it was an awe-inspiring performance.

It’s been 18 months now, and I still think about the espinhaço, the GOGO team, and our Expedition ALL THE TIME. I want to bring (partner & fellow explorer) Fernanda & my daughter next time, and stay for a whole season. They’re going to love it.
